The South Coast Community Garden Association (SCCGA) membership is open to the public. Members are eligible to apply for a community garden plot for each garden season. Dues and garden fees are nominal and waivers for garden fees can be requested for those who need them. Member gardeners, the community, and visitors enjoy the gardens throughout the year.

 The South Coast Community Garden Association meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 and are open to the public. Due to Covid-19 the last couple years they have been at Lady Bug Landing when the weather is good or on Zoom. If you are interested intending a meeting you can email at the address below.

The Board of Directors, officers, committees and volunteers contribute time and expertise to:

• Establish policies and procedures
• Set annual programs and goals
• Create budgets and raise funds
• Direct and manage resources
• Submit reports
• Keep records
• Oversee satellite gardens throughout the county

SCCGA is an Oregon Non-Profit Corporation registered as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

It operates exclusively for the charitable, scientific, literary and educational purpose to educate the local community on gardening and for providing and managing a place for people of the community to grow produce and other plants for personal, family use.
